We wanted our property to have a showstopper bathroom. You know the sort of thing you get in a 5 star hotel and we believe that we got it. Starting with the things you cannot see; the under floor insulation, waterproofing and the tiles ensure a totally water resistant floor. It'd not quite a wet room but it's close. We did consider underfloor heating but we chose to go without and to be honest we've not really noticed it so well does the insulation work. The room is tiled floor to ceiling throughout in large, ripple effect white tiles in a bonded (brick) pattern with inset floor to ceiling full length mirror tiles as you walk in on your right.

Behind the door is a tall and wide ladder towel rail radiator perfect for a family of four finished off with thermostatic valve and chrome effect piping into the floor.  The toilet is a close coupled, slim line system that has a silent flush and fill and is very comfy ;-). We have his 'n' her sinks a metal bath and a power shower with a truly immense showerhead. Which drenches you in warm water.

All the fittings match perfectly (which sounds easier than it was), the taps on the basins are swivel mixers and the bath has a quarter turn post mixer arrangement (two taps but one nozzle) with an auxiliary shower head perfect for rinsing hair. The power shower has a wall mounted control valve and all of the plumbing is concealed adding the real wow factor. At the end of the bath is a large storage unit (just visible in the mirror) perfect for towels and bathroom storage for your toiletries. For the day to day stuff like toothbrushes etc. There are two wall mounted cupboards over the basins which are recessed into the wall so that you get maximum storage for minimum intrusion. Then there are two underbasin storage cupboards ideal for cleaning products and toilet rolls. There is also a conveinent towel ring behind you as you stand at the sinks. With 12V downloghters and under cabinet lighting (more on our Bathroom lighting here) we think that anyone viewing our property will agree that it's a dream come true bathroom.
