Upstairs in our property are 3 bedrooms and an
all new family bathroom. Our aim was again to create light, airy rooms which would
be comfortable and relaxing. We have a little boy and girl and resisted the urge to go all out pink
and blue instead we used neutral colours, whites, beiges etc. on the fixed decor and opted to
brighten up and personalise the rooms with furniture and accesories. Meaning you should be able to
move your own belongings in and make the house yours quickly and start feel very 'at
home'.
The attic is accessible from the upstairs landing, we use a ladder
but a loft ladder was definitely going to be fitted and with such a large access hatch it
would provide convenient storage with the loft being large enough to stand in and would
be easy to convert into a proper hobby room.
The upstairs has some interesting features in the rooms adding
character something not afforded by more modern homes. We love it and our new house, whilst very
nice, clean and in good order lacks some of the more interesting features which attracted us
to this house. Enjoy.
